With generous support from Bristol-Myers Squibb, ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ has been working in Zimbabwe and Ethiopia to combat tuberculosis and HIV/AIDS, and educate communities in the prevention of mother-to-child transmission of HIV programs. The project aims to improve community awareness and knowledge about TB – its cause, transmission and prevention, as well as the importance of early detection and completion of treatment. ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ has been using our Maternal and Newborn Child Health platform to integrate TB prevention alongside Prevention of Mother-to-Child Transmission of HIV/AIDS activities, working vigorously to enhance community knowledge to bring about improved care-seeking and, as a result, case detection, prevention and treatment.

Nourishing Children and Enabling Resilient Communities
As part of its purpose to nourish the world in a safe, responsible, and sustainable way, Cargill works with ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ to improve the nutritional and physical well-being of children in primary schools in the Batangas Province in the Philippines. Also, we are working with vulnerable households in the same community on egg production to create additional sources of income, empower women and improve the health and nutrition of children. With Cargill’s support, corn farmers in Cagayan Province who suffered tremendous losses in Typhoon Ulysses, which destroyed crops in the Philippines last year, have the opportunity to recover and restart their livelihoods.

Strengthening Cocoa Communities
An exciting and growing part of our partnership with Cargill is to support the Cargill Cocoa Promise, a commitment to accelerate progress towards a transparent global cocoa supply chain to enable farmers and their communities to thrive while growing cocoa sustainably. Together, we enable communities to monitor the welfare and safety of children as well as to take preventive and responsive measures against any issues that can affect children’s growth and development and their access to health and nutrition services, education, and protection from harm. We are working together to address child protection issues, including the risk of child labor in cocoa communities in Indonesia. Together, we are empowering cocoa communities in Cote D’Ivoire by improving the social and economic status of young men and women. This includes technical and vocational training, and entrepreneurship skills training.

Empowering Youth in Palm Oil Communities

In West Kalimantan Indonesia, we are empowering youth to improve economic opportunities for young people and farmers in the palm oil communities through diversified income generating activities and through life and vocational skills training. Young people will also be change agents in good water, sanitation and hygiene practices in the community.

Carnival Corporation & plc is a long-standing emergency partner of ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ. They have generously supported our humanitarian responses to many large natural disasters, including the Asian and Japanese Tsunamis, the Haitian Earthquake, Hurricanes Sandy, Katrina and Harvey, Typhoon Haiyan, Vanuatu, Nepal Earthquakes and the Louisiana Floods. During the Vanuatu relief, Carnival generously donated space aboard their ships to mobilize relief supplies to the areas affected by the storms. During Hurricane Katrina, Carnival offered space in the Doc Holiday Bar aboard the Holiday Cruise Ship to use as an infant care room and child care center. The center served about 70 children daily while docked in Mobile, Alabama.

Since 2012, Carter’s has worked with ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ in times of crisis in the U.S. and around the world to help children, families and communities in the aftermath of a disaster. In 2017, Carter’s activated their store network and Foundation to support ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ’s response to the devastating hurricanes in Houston, Florida and Puerto Rico.

This collaboration is dedicated to saving lives by providing essential treatments to children most at risk, helping address global health disparities and working toward the goal of ending preventable child deaths.

In 2025, CMA made an additional generous contribution of $500,000 in mission support, enabling ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ to respond swiftly to urgent needs where help is most required. This partnership is particularly vital in these challenging times, helping create a safer and more secure tomorrow for the world’s most vulnerable children.

Cherry Hill Programs serves as the Santa and Bunny Photo Experience provider for leading shopping centers, retailers, and hotels. Since 2011, donations have been collected at its venues to support ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ’s early childhood education, literacy, health and emergency preparedness programs in the United States. One guest and one act of giving at a time, each act of generosity has resulted in donations totaling more than $1.4 million. In addition to financially supporting these programs, Cherry Hill Programs brightens the spirits of underserved children, delivering gifts and messages about the importance of reading to ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ program sites across the United States. ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ’s domestic programs strive to ensure that children in need are ready to succeed by the time they begin school, to thrive academically and developmentally, and to lead healthy and active lives. Cherry Hill Programs is a vital partner in making that a reality.

In 2001, we co-developed NetHope, a global consortium of nonprofit organizations that specializes in improving IT connectivity among humanitarian organizations in developing countries and disaster-affected areas.

Today, Cisco and ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ partner in 16 countries across the globe working to improve the lives of children and their families.

  • In Ukraine, Cisco-supported digital learning centers help children connect and continue their education despite being uprooted by conflict.
  • Across the Southern US Border, the Cisco Crisis Response (CCR) team and its partners at NetHope provided internet connectivity at shelters ensuring safe and reliable communications for asylum seekers and shelter staff.
  • In India, Cisco supported ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ’s efforts to ensure “last mile†delivery of Covid vaccines to over 450,000 vulnerable individuals living in remote, hard to reach locations.
  • Together we are harnessing the power of technology through a registration and attendance tracking app, Waliku, that increases parent engagement and improves student outcomes in Indonesia, Ethiopia, across multiple Latin America countries and used by ‘Catch Up Clubs’ globally.

For over 20 years, the Citi Foundation has collaborated with ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ to help improve the lives of children, families and communities throughout the world by supporting projects in Youth Livelihoods and Emergency Response. As part of its commitment to catalyzing job opportunities for youth, the Citi Foundation has supported ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ in reaching over 35,000 youth in Asia, providing access to high-quality vocational training and financial education workshops to strengthen their vocational skills, life skills and, ultimately, their employability. We are currently working together to equip youth with disabilities with market-relevant livelihoods training in Vietnam. Most recently Citi employee giving, and Citi Foundation grant funding contributed to ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ’s response efforts for children and families impacted by the conflict in Ukraine supporting immediate aid, such as food, water, hygiene kits, psychosocial support and cash assistance.

Cummins, Inc.

Cummins Inc. and the Cummins Foundation have partnered with ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ since 2011 to ensure that children in emergency situations have access to quality education in a safe and protective learning environment. With their critical support, Cummins Inc. has enabled us to respond to acute and chronic crises around the globe through direct intervention and preparedness strategies. Thanks to their support, we were able to provide direct and immediate assistance to children and families impacted by Cyclone Idai in Mozambique, flooding in India, the earthquakes in Indonesia, Typhoon Goni in the Philippines and Hurricanes Maria, Florence and Laura in the United States. Cummins employees have also shown great dedication to ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ, and have generously supported our emergency-response activities through workplace giving and employee engagement efforts.

In 2018, Cummins launched its Cummins Powers Women program, a landmark community initiative committed to the advancement and prosperity of women and girls around the world. As part of this program, we worked together in Germany to improve the future prospects of refugee women and girls through a holistic psychosocial program aimed to self-empower and increase their resilience.

Most recently, they supported Mexico’s Health and Education Through the Arts (HEART) program, which is an arts-based approach to providing psychosocial support for children, youth, and adults.

HMH partners with ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ to provide quality educational resources to teachers and students in underserved communities in order to improve outcomes for children of all backgrounds. Through annual book donations from HMH, ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ is able to put high-quality books into the hands and homes of children – the impact of which is immeasurable. HMH also supports ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ’s emergency responses by providing high quality children’s books to help communities rebuild after natural disasters like Hurricanes Harvey and Matthew. In support of ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ’s COVID-19 response in the U.S., HMH has provided tens of thousands of books to benefit children and families.

At the outset of the Ukraine crisis in 2022, MoneyGram’s contribution helped us reach children and families impacted by the conflict with immediate relief and aid.  And MoneyGram helped us support families in Kenya who have been impacted by the country’s ongoing economic crisis, to establish village savings groups that provide financial literacy and entrepreneurship training, as well connections to local microfinancing services so participants can grow and sustain their livelihoods. We are grateful for MoneyGram’s ongoing support of the Children’s Emergency Fund which allows ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ to be there before, during and after an emergency.

Sony Corporation teamed up with ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ in response to the massive 2011 earthquake in Japan to create the Restart Japan Aid Project. This collaboration leveraged their tremendous resources to help the people of Japan rebuild their lives. Since 2014, Sony Corporation of America, on behalf of all of its U.S. operating companies, has underpinned the most critical needs of children in crisis by supporting our Children's Emergency Fund. The Company has also directly supported numerous emergency response efforts around the world, including the 2017 hurricanes. As a longstanding supporter, Sony Corporation actively engages its employees in annual volunteer opportunities with ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ, further upholding the mission of the organization.

Starbucks is vital to building our programs for children, and we are grateful to them for their unique contributions to ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ.

ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ is excited to reinvigorate our partnership with Starbucks and align directly with their recent .

In January 2023, awarded ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ a $500k 2-year Origin Grant as the first project focused on women and girls in Mexico's origin communities. ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ will work with women from Cuetzalan del Progreso, Huauchinango, Huitzilan de Serdán, Xicotepec and Zongozotla de Juárez to develop socio-emotional skills, financial education and digital skills and apply them to their own businesses.

ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ launches "The Power in Me" program to create economic opportunities and promote resilience for 1,500 women in Puebla's coffee-growing communities through financial and digital literacy skills, entrepreneurship training, and support for women-owned businesses. "To create a sustainable future of coffee for all, we must care for the well-being of the farmers and communities that grow coffee, tea and cocoa around the world and when we invest in women, we are also investing in her community," added Michelle Burns, Starbucks executive vice president of Global Coffee, Social Impact and Sustainability and board member of The Starbucks Foundation.

By helping to reduce economic and digital access gaps, participating women will have a significantly higher likelihood of breaking the cycle of poverty, helping to build resilience for participants, their families and the community as a whole.
